My Spring/ Summer wish list and why:

1.  A long gold necklace.  I have been looking for a long gold necklace to wear over plain blouses for a while now, but have been quite picky about the process.  This one is not too flashy and is a decent price.  $95

2.  A white, black, and fun colored maybe, yellow blouse that I can wear with anything!  I have this blouse in a mossy green color and love how light it is and how versatile.  I have been looking for a short sleeved white or black blouse because I would prefer that during the warm months, but cannot find one that I like.  $98 

3.  Some fun shorts.  I have been salivating over these shorts for about a month now, wondering when is the best time to give in and buy them.  Yesterday, I finally built up the gusto to allow myself online with a credit card in hand AND of course they are not on the Jcrew website anymore.  I frantically call the company and am sweating it out waiting for the email to arrive stating if they are being shipped to me or if they are sold out.  (Crossing my fingers) But if not I have a back up pair.  The lovely Lilly Pulitzer buttercup short.  $118

4.  I have been wanting a nice blanket for a while now.  Especially for when I am traveling.  This one looks so soft and it has chevrons all over it.  It is ridiculously priced, but it is exactly what I want!  $295  

My latest project!  I ordered about 8 different colored 36 inch round balloons to decorate.  I got them from one of my favorite websites shopsweetlulu. com.  I plan to give these to friends/ loved ones over the next few months for Valentines, Birthdays, and special events, and I also plan to attach each to a gift.  They are so easy and so cute!  All you really need is ribbon and tissue paper!

I have to say, I have been slavinnnnnggg over my Valentines gift I am creating for the BF.  And I must say I do not know what I would do without Pinterest.  While it has helped me out with giving me many amazing ideas, a lot of these ideas are very time consuming!  So that I do not ruin any surprises I am going to wait until after February 14th to post any pictures or inform you of what I am doing.   

P.S.  The above is my favorite candy.  I can’t wait to get sick off of it on Valentines!

I want, I want, I want!

I have realized that over the past months I have kind of reached a plateau in life.  I have finished school and am working.  Well… I got sick of this pretty quick.  I thought I wanted to move out of my parents.  I did that.  Needless to say I am so sick of watching my rent check come out of my bank account each month it nearly makes me cry.  I thought I wanted a dog, that that would fulfill me for at least a few years.  After spending one day with my employers new puppy I thought to myself “Thank GOD I did not get a dog!”  And trust me, I LOVE dogs, but man I definitely cannot do that to myself right now.  I really thought that I wanted to get married.  (I’m not even going to go into that one.)

In the end, what I have truly learned is that I need to be happy with what I have and enjoy my responsibility free youth.  I have to say I am glad I have realized I do not need, nor want these things anymore.  For now Pinterest will fill my void.
